This winter we had to replace the floor in the studio after we found mold along the back wall. Work was scheduled during a warm period in January. The part of the floor effected was removed, a new sub floor put in, and then self-leveling concrete on top. Five days later, tile was installed to complete the new floor.
Then, new loft stairs were designed. The old stairs were more like a ladder and not easy to get up and down on. New stairs are wider and a lot more sturdy. Still a little steep, but its much easier to navigate. After that, insulation on the main floor. It certainly changes the sound quality in the studio.
Next it was time to reinstall the workbench. Got some extra shelving and workspace too! Everything was sanded smooth and corners were rounded.
All plugged in and ready for clay!
Unpacking everything and putting it all in place was exciting.
